Loved ones leave a voice message.
Kids play it back with a Yoto card.
Like an answering machine for your kiddo's Yoto player. Friends and family you invite leave a message from wherever they are.
They don't need a Yoto account or an app.
Free for 14 days. No card details to start.
- 1 Make a tape It appears in your Yoto library. Link it to a blank card in the Yoto app.
- 2 Invite the family by email Grandparents, aunts, godparents. They tap the link and record. No app, no account.
- 3 The messages are on the card Next time it goes into the player, the new ones are there.
What you need
- A Yoto account and a player the child uses.
- A blank Make Your Own card — the ones Yoto sells — to hand the child. How linking works
No Yoto player in the house? Then this isn't for you yet — there would be nothing to play the messages on.
What it costs
Free for the first 14 days, no card details needed. After that it's a small subscription for the family's tape — the price is shown before anything is charged, and only ever to the person who owns the Yoto account.
The people you invite never pay anything, and never see a price.
The honest limits
- No. 3 A message can be up to three minutes long.
- No. 20 A tape holds twenty messages. The twenty-first records over the oldest, like a tape does.
- New messages play once the card is taken out and put back in.
